Specialization in the school of Brentano (including Brentano himself, early Husserl, Meinong, Marty, Stumpf, Twardowski, and von Ehrenfels) as well its background (especially Bolzano and Lotze) and its periphery (e.g. Munich phenomenology). Emphasis on issues in epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, and philosophy of logic, with the goal of exploring the relevant positions and their relations to each other in these areas of philosophical inquiry by means of thoroughly source-based and philologically exact historical research (including the edition of texts).
I am also transcribing manuscripts from Kurt Gödel's literary remains for a critical edition of his philosophical papers.
